Protein Packed Vegan Breakfast

Eat your breakfast as a king, at sametime a breakfast should make you feel refreshed, energetic.

I have had all kinds of breakfast – South Indian (Idly, Dosa, Vada, Pongal, etc), North Indian (Paratha, Kulche, Chole, Poor, Bathura, etc), Continental/English (Bread, Muffins, Half boiled omelette, Cheese, etc) and a few other cuisines

However, all of them either make you energetic or refreshed but not both. Either its packed with carbs or fats or no protein at all

Our body starts its day in morning and needs a good healthy dose of protein, vitamins and carbs to an extent

If you want a quick breakfast, you can try the below smoothie

Fresh apple and carrot juice

– Carrot, Apple, Chia Seeds : This will hardly take 3-5 mins preparation time . All you need is 2 carrots medium sized, 1 apple, 1 tablespoon grated ginger, 1 tablespoon chia seeds.

This smoothie is loaded with Vitamins, protein and minerals much essential fuel for the day

Carrots provide an excellent source of the antioxidant beta-carotene. They also supply vitamin C, K & E, calcium, fiber, and magnesium.
Apples contain vitamin C & B-complex, calcium, phosphorus, potassium, and fiber.
Ginger root has a calming effect and aids in digestion
Chia seeds are a great plant based protein and omega 3 fatty acid source

– Two Boiled Eggs either with a slice of multi-grain brown bread : This will hardly take 10 mins just for eggs to boil. You would get the protein and carbs needed to start your day
