“Learn to understand, to unlearn, life” – Raja
Mortal Souls – There are so many things in this world that we want to do, to try, to feel, to learn, to be an expert but alas, we chose to be mired in mediocracy, fearing the battles against fear and our own inner devil’s advocate.
Mortal Souls – Is it so impossible ?
Oracle – Well, I will support to an extent:
“We will miss out, no matter what. It’s inevitable. We cannot do or try everything in the world, even with lives twice as long. We cannot see every town and city, read every interesting book, watch every important film. We will always, always miss out.
Here’s the second, more important truth: if you always worry about what you’re missing out on, you will miss out on what you already have.”
“Nothing external to you has any power over you – Ralph Waldo Emerson.”
Mortal Souls – So, with all the above said things, how the heck do I learn anything I want ?
Oracle - Below is a theory and a practical approach which has shined over the battles of time, battles of a countless critics.
Mortal Souls – umm, I guess, its just learning something for 10,000 hours as mentioned by Malcolm Gladwell in his book “Outlier” . Isnt it ?
Oracle – Correlation doesn’t imply causation. 10,000 hours effort, becoming an expert are two events of which both are correlated but one doesn’t imply the other. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Correlation_does_not_imply_causation
Mortal Souls – What is it then ? Is it another bible, a freaking thesis ?
Oracle – 3 little Guinea Pigs is all it takes.
Mortal Souls – Whew ! WOE ( What on earth ) ? are they ?

Oracle – Without further ado, go, armour yourself in it.
Mortal Souls – Will it work ?
Oracle – All great people, Charaka and Susrata, Aryabhatta, Newton, Mozart, Beethoven, Einstein, Buffet, Marie Curie, Edison, Faraday, Tesla, Pasteur, Galileo, Aristotle and sports legends like Jordan, Sachin, Federer, Nadal have embraced their mind, body and soul with these three weaponry.
